The culmination of our month-long programme for Black History Month, bringing together elements from the whole programme in a celebration of the music of the African diaspora and its inpact on the world today, 500 years on from the beginning of the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
This Gala Finale features our Pan-African percussion ensemble, the might of the full Grand Union Orchestra and its young musicians, and concerted voices from all the cultures of East London - don’t miss it!
