Our creative practical workshops are led by the Grand Union Orchestra's distinguished roster of professional musicians born and brought up in all major musical traditions world wide. They present the provenance, the history and cultural context of their music as well as authentic techniques.

GUYO members are encouraged to make their own music using these techniques and express the diverse society they are themselves growing up in.

GUYO is unique, providing opportunities to learn, perform, develop improvisation skills and general musicianship, not generally offered by other ensembles or music institutions.
