SHOREDITCH & HOXTON COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA
The Shoreditch & Hoxton Community Orchestra (S&HCO) was established in 2021 in response to a commission from the London Borough of Hackney Art Fund. It played an important part in Grand Union’s 40th anniversary year - view highlights here - and Hackney’s Windrush 75 celebration programme
The S&HCO workshop and performance programme will resume in March 2023.
New members are always welcome:
Open to people with some musical experience aged 16 and over who live, work or study in Shoreditch or Hoxton
Participation is free
No minimum level of skill required, just enthusiasm for making music
Players of non-European instruments and percussion are particularly welcome
