Davina’s singing career has been rich and diverse, taking in jazz, pop, classical, and opera. She was a founder member of acapella group Darker Than Blue, before studying at Goldsmiths’ College and completing a diploma in Operatic Studies at Abbey Opera.

Davina made her debut for Leitmotif Opera Company in their production of Mephistopheles and went on to perform in Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha, Gioachino Rossini’s La Cenerentola, and the Pegasus Opera production of Georges Bizet’s Carmen.

Davina joined Grand Union in 2001 and is featured on our 2011 album, If Paradise.
